How it works

About the Project
The DATA-READY project aims to strengthen data literacy in compulsory education across Europe by equipping students with the knowledge and skills to understand, interpret, and use data responsibly. To support this goal, the project develops a European Data Literacy Competence Framework, teacher education and professional development programmes, assessment tools, and evidence-based policy recommendations for the sustainable integration of data literacy into education systems. It also establishes a European Community of Practice to promote collaboration and ensure the long-term impact of its results. Implemented by partners from Greece, Portugal, Germany, Poland, and Cyprus, the project runs from March 2025 to February 2028.
